Working at Capt. Mike's

Busy bar.Real kitchen.

Capt. Mike's is a downtown Kenosha bar that runs a full kitchen: stuffed burgers, mac 'n cheese built to order, appetizers and a weekend breakfast, plus a tap list and gin shelf that keep the bar side moving. Jeanette and Michael Kelly have owned it since 2019 and work it themselves.

Most of the roles are the ones you would expect in a place like this: cooks and kitchen crew, bartenders, and servers and hosts out front. In summer the Galley food truck adds event shifts at festivals, workplaces and private parties around Kenosha.

The pace is the honest part of the job. Friday and Saturday nights are loud, weekend breakfast starts at 8, and the patio fills when the weather turns. If you like a room with something happening, it is a good fit. Open positions are listed below; if nothing fits, apply anyway and tell us what you do, or stop in and ask for a manager.
