Privacypolicy.

This policy explains what Capt. Mike’s Beer & Burger Bar (“we”, “us”) collects when you use captainmikespub.com, what we do with it, and the choices you have. We are a bar and restaurant at 5118 6th Ave, Kenosha, WI 53140. The short version: we collect what you type into our forms, standard website analytics, and nothing else we can avoid.

What we collect

Information you give us

• Food truck bookings. When you ask about booking the Galley, the form collects your name, email address, phone number, event date, location and the details you choose to share.
• Job applications. When you apply for a job, the form collects your name, contact details and the work history and answers you provide.
• Email and phone. If you email or call us, we keep the message and your contact details so we can reply.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages visited, how visitors arrived, general location, device and browser type. Google sets cookies to do this. The data is aggregated and does not identify you by name. See Google’s privacy policy and its opt-out tool.
• Server and security logs. Our hosting provider and content delivery network record standard connection details, such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.

Services built into the site

Parts of the site are provided by other companies, and their privacy policies apply to what they collect:

• Online ordering, gift cards and the ordering links on our menus go to Toast. Your order, payment and account information is collected by Toast under Toast’s privacy statement; we do not receive your card details.
• Our beer list is displayed from Untappd for Business, which loads content and its own analytics from Untappd’s servers. See Untappd’s privacy policy.
• The map on our Visit page is provided by Google Maps and may set Google cookies.
• Our booking and application forms are provided by GoHighLevel and managed for us by TMC Marketing, our website agency. Submissions are stored there and sent to us.
• Merchandise is sold through a separate shop run by The Lettering Machine.

How we use it

• To reply to booking inquiries and plan events.
• To consider job applications and contact applicants.
• To run, secure and improve the website.
• To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising by other companies.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers named above, who process it for us; TMC Marketing, which builds and maintains this site; and anyone we are legally required to share it with. Nobody else.

Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics, Google Maps and the Untappd beer list may set cookies as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.

How long we keep it

Booking inquiries are kept for as long as we need them to plan and follow up on events. Job applications are kept while a position is open and for a reasonable time afterwards in case another opens. Analytics data is retained by Google for the period set in our account, currently 14 months.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing captainmikespub@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. Residents of some states have additional rights under their state’s law; we honor those requests the same way.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Alcohol is served only to guests 21 and over.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to form submissions is limited to the people who need it. No method of storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
